Greg
Ryan, President eCommandos, Inc.
After
graduating from Clarkson College in Potsdam, NY with a degree in
electrical and computer engineering, Greg worked in the technology
field for Boeing Aerospace in Seattle, Washington. Later he became
involved in the high-tech dental industry. While
working for a dental company whose home office was in Milwaukee,
Greg caught the "on-line bug". From New Jersey he wrote
and debugged code that was sent via modem to Milwaukee. Long nights
with his modem introduced Greg to bulletin board systems (BBS).
This experience led to the creation of a bulletin board program,
RyBBS, which he marketed worldwide until the Internet took the world
by storm. In the early 1990's, Greg became president of ExecPC.
Under his direction, ExecPC grew to become the largest ISP in the
Midwest. After ExecPC was sold to Voyager, Inc. Greg joined forces
with a local web design company in Milwaukee where he held the position
of Vice President of Production. Greg's years of experience in leadership
positions in hi-tech and Internet businesses allowed him to realize
his dream of becoming an Internet entrepreneur and form eCommandos
where he helps businesses get in step with the latest technology.
